Trying to finish Tales of Hearts but…school got in the way..
In one part, went inside a giant crystal. Inside the crystal was a giant cyberspace! There were paths that looked like a maze. The background had colorful strips. Very futuristic-like.
I think I have one or two more dungeons to go. …I think I maxed out the main guys’ weapons? I don’t know. I’m almost finished with the game but I never got the chance to fully figure out how their weapons and leveling up works XD As long as I get stronger, I’m satisfied already XD
Started a new game: Dragon Quest IV!!! I’d always been wanting to play Dragon Quest because that was Nino’s (points at banner above) favorite game. And I wanted to understand why it’s really popular in Japan besides that the illustrator is famous. I had played Dragon Quest before but couldn’t get into it. The graphics looked kinda too plain.
The forth series: It was interesting. Started off introducing different characters in each chapter. Finished one chapter and you’ll play a different character in the next. And later in the game, I assume, you’ll have all the characters in one party~ I love this kind of scenerio~! I had to level up the characters more often (at the beginning stage) because I wanted to equip them with the most powerful weapons and armor. You don’t get much money at the beginning.
Random: There was a monster called a Bagworm. It reminded me of an episode of Arashi no Shukudai-kun where a fortune-teller told the Arashi members what their past life was. And Ohno was told that he was a bagworm XD
Tales of Hearts return
Been really busy lately. After a long hiatus, I finally got the chance to return to playing Tales of Hearts.
I just finished the part where the party goes to Beryl’s hometown. Her town had a lot of paintings. There was a tunnel connecting to another area. The paintings inside the tunnel were so pretty!!! They were blue!! XD <–Is attracted to blue.
Next, the airship.
Nostalgeo no Kaze
Finished playing it a long time ago. This game became top of my favorite games list ^^
A boy dreams of becoming an adventurer, like his father. He goes off to find his father. Among the people he meets, he encounters a girl who has no recollection of her memories. Your mission is to gather four pieces of golden plates. When the plate is in one piece, the girl will recover her memories.
Battles are turn-based, in a way. There is a list of the order of which one attacks next.
For outdoor battles, you battle on an airship. You only travel on an airship. You battle flying creatures or other airships.
Likes:
- The graphics look so realistic~
- The Japanese is easy. I can understand almost every sentence!

Dislikes:
- Airship battles are hard!! Be careful not to go where you’re not supposed to go yet. The enemies are hard to beat if you’re in the wrong place. The toughest battles are at the place where you go two levels up into the sky. Be careful when you go there.

You can still continue after you beat the game. I stopped playing it so didn’t get to find out if there were anything special added.
Heard that it’s coming out in the US. I highly recommend this game.
Dengeki Gakuen RPG Talk 2
The heroes go into storybooks to bring the story back to the way it originally is. They called those bad guys “entertainers”. The main guy keeps having one scene flashing in his mind, where the girls are hanged on a cross. I don’t really understand the whole thing so can’t describe it well. The story is a bit adult-ish, in a way. There’s one scene where a girl strips herself XD The parts are covered though, lol.
You gain a new girl in the party after completing each stage. A bit later on, you can start to battle with cards. You combine cards to create a new card or level them up. A bit weird.. It’s kinda hard to fight and use the cards at the same time. I use my finger instead of the stylus to use the cards. It’s also a bit annoying and takes too much time but it helps a lot when fighting bosses because they keep attacking you.
The battle field is similar to Tales of Hearts. And you usually fight against other people or animals.
I figured out why I got so irritated when entering the random battle scenes. I got used to seeing the monsters in Tales of and Soma Bringer and running away from them if I want to.
Right now, I’m at the haunted mansion. The enemies are so tough. Need to level up some more.
Tales of Hearts
Currently at the middle of playing it. I chose to play the CG version. Didn’t check out the animated version yet.
The CG version isn’t so bad. The characters look real but their size proportions are a tiny bit off. Shing looks cooler compared to the animated one.
Dengeki Gakuen RPG: Cross of Venus
Started a new game: Dengeki Gakuen RPG: Cross of Venus
One guy with a lot of females. And the villains are all/mostly guys. Everything takes place at the school.
Soma Bringer
An action RPG about a military organization help saving the world. They encounter a girl who has amnesia. They try to get her memory back. Meanwhile, some evil spirits called visitors invade the world.

Already played a bunch of games prior to the opening of this blog. So I’ll just update my progress starting today. I might write about games that I previous played, if I can still remember the contents and stuff. I have a terrible memory.
Games currently playing:
Soma Bringer
Tales of Innocence
Tales of Hearts
I finished Soma Bringer already but there were extra dungeons and stuff that you can do. Not sure when I’ll stop playing it.
Tales of Innocence – Took a hiatus because I was playing Soma Bringer. Now returning to playing it.
Tales of Hearts – Tried out a bit to see what it looked like at first. Haven’t played it in a long time. Returned to playing it two days ago. Will probably finish it after finishing Tales of Innocence.
